We’re hosting two “Build a Solar Panel” workshops at SXSW next year! The first workshop is on Saturday, March 9th and the second is on Sunday, March 10th.
About the Workshops:
Ever wondered how solar technology works? In this workshop, you’ll learn how to harvest the sun’s magical energy & build your own working solar panel that can charge your phone. We’ll take you through a step-by-step tutorial of putting together a 6 watt panel, embedding it in a durable case, and attaching it to circuitry compatible with phone charging. We’ll also chat about the history of solar panels, the science behind energy harvesting, and the latest trends in the industry. Beginners welcome, no prior electronics experience necessary!
