Here is how it works:
- Step 1: Register for the competition by filling out this form here.
- Step 2: Get your supplies! We recommend this kit if you aren't sure where to start. Take this fun quiz to get inspiration!
- Step 3: Submit photos of your creation to emma@grouphugsolar.com by Tuesday, December 20th at 11:59PM EST.
- Step 4: Join our Virtual Gingerbread Showcase on December 22nd where we will announce the winner! This will take place on Zoom (time & link coming soon).

There are 2 categories, the best of each category will win a *free* Window Solar Charger ($149 value). Yes, we are giving away TWO solar chargers!
- Most innovative use of materials
- Best use of solar and/or sustainable practices
Rules:
- Must be a structure made out of gingerbread
- Almost all materials used must be edible (structural support can be inedible)
- Must incorporate solar
- Bonus! incorporate other sustainability practices! (composting, recycling, etc)
- Entries can be created in a team, or solo
